Outfit review: I am always out for dinner - here is what I wore
Another celebration, another outfit and then comes another blog post. Dets and review coming up.
My daddio celebrated his 59th birthday last weekend (yep nearly 60, which means I feel old and well he must be feeling even older - soz), so we headed out to one of our ‘family favourite’ restaurants, Lucca in Manningtree, Essex (I have linked the restaurant if you would like to check out their menu). They serve the most amazing traditional Italian food and my go to is the meatballs and zucchini frites - yum! Anyway, because I haven’t eaten yet and in fact I’m trying out a new shake diet (inbetween these meals out) before my holiday to Mexico, so I will stop talking about food, as my mouth is watering. As always a meal out requires a fairly nice outfit. I always gauge the atmosphere of a restaurant (and how much I’m going to eat) based on what I should wear. On this occasion the look is quite casual and instead of wearing heels or boots I opted for trainers - new of course!

I just HAD to make the most of my insane selfie mirror and the fact my room is so light and has a white background, so I took lots of snaps. I think maybe I went a little on the dare devil side with this look and just wore a very small bralet to dinner, which didn’t sit well with the amount of pasta I ate. You can’t see in these pics as I covered the top up with my cute little Topshop jacket. I have owned this jacket for yonks, but had never really worn it a lot, so I thought this was a good chance. Its extremely light weight and thin, so not great for the cold weather we still have, but the detail is gorgeous and I love how it goes with almost anything I wear. Oh and by the way the little bralet is from Boohoo! I did however go sensible with the trousers, elasticated waist and all. I got these from my lovely boyfriend for my birthday back in December from Zara, which I believe you can still purchase in store (if not similar styles are available). If you are looking for a slightly cheaper alternative, Primark are selling almost identical styles with slightly different patterns (I think they currently have a grey pair in store).
Trainers are Adidas EQTs, and I actually got the most amazing bargain on these. I went to have a little gander at Ashford Outlet and I ended picking up these up for £31, which are normally retailed at £99! Couldn’t believe my luck. Of course, being a lover of any kind of shoes I just had to purchase to add to the collection. Although I’m conscious I can’t be wearing these in the rain.
Now for my favourite part - the necklaces! If you haven’t visited Bohomoon, then please do. They have a really unique range of jewellery, perfect for the summer months and for the upcoming festival season. I particularly like their necklaces and have linked the ones I am wearing below. Sorry you can’t see them clearly in the picture.
I am also wearing a gold triple layered necklace from ASOS. Unfortunately, I can't find the exact one, but I have linked to the jewellery homepage.
