Festivals 2k17

So last month the festival season began and with a number of different festivals ahead, I thought I would share with you what I wore to Bournemouth 7s rugby festival. Many of you may have not heard of Bournemouth 7s - but for us it used to be more of a Uni tradition and an excuse to spend the whole weekend drinking after a mountain of exams and assignments. But this year was slightly different. This year Taru flew over from Finland and Rosie and I made our way from London. It was great to be reunited with some old faces and spend the weekend at a place we called home for three years. A very nostalgic weekend! Therefore, as we prepare for more festivals, I thought I would share with you the outfits I pulled together for the weekend.

Unitard: Pretty Little Thing, Timberlands: Office, Cap: Yankees Store (New York)

Unfortunately we didn't get the best weather, but that didn't stop me choosing some 'revealing' outfits. I was really sceptical about this outfit to begin with. I wasn't sure how it would look on, or if I would be able to pull it off. But "dare to be different" they say. I brought this little black fishnet unitard from Pretty Little Thing for only £18 (see link). This piece can be worn mutiple ways, but I decided to brave it and go for the hot pants and black bralet combo. This also looks great with an oversized tee or a large black denim jacket.

Ok, so I must admit that I brought almost the whole of this outfit from Primark! I was very impressed. With only a few days to spare and little money in the bank, I was frantically searching for another outfit and quickly took a trip to Primarche on Oxford Street. In contrast to my other look above this is a little more summery and vibrant. I don't normally wear a lot of pink, but I conciously made the effort to be particularly girly and went for some pink shorts and a hawaiian style bodysuit (both £6 each). I decided to throw on my little fish net socks and my big black boots to give the outfit a bit of edge.

Chokers and glitter: Primark

Thought I would share with you guys a little close up of my makeup. I love the double messy buns and I loved even more rubbing glitter in my hair. I wish this was acceptable everyday!
